Myself

I would like to introduce myself as a Professor of Technology Transfer and Sustainable Agricultural Development in the Department of Agricultural Extension Education, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. My area of specialization include:  (i) Communication, (ii) Technology Transfer and Sustainable Rural Development, (iii) Extension Education, (iv) Use of Indigenous Technical Knowledge (ITK), (v) Poverty Alleviation and Livelihoods Improvements, and (vi) Gender and Development (GAD).  I have long 33 years service experience in the Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Apart from teaching, I very often engaged myself in providing consultancy services in different national and international organizations located in Bangladesh. I have also considerable experience in conducting independent research and offering training in various disciplines. I traveled 20 countries of the world in various capacities.
